- Maintain the security and proper functioning of our website
Our lawful basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in operating the website and responding to enquiries.
If in the future we introduce forms, mailing lists, or optional services, we will update this policy and, where necessary, request your consent before collecting or using that data.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
4. Cookies and website data
WordPress.com may set cookies or similar technologies to provide core site functionality. Embedded services (such as YouTube) may also set cookies needed for their operations.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. More information is available at www.allaboutcookies.org.
5. Sharing and disclosures
We may share personal data with trusted service providers who support our website or communications (for example, WordPress.com as host, or our email provider). These providers act as data processors and may only use personal data as needed to deliver their services to us.
We will not share your personal data with other parties unless:

- You provide explicit consent
Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we will ensure appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) are in place.

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above:
- Email enquiries and correspondence: kept for up to two years after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner
- Technical or log data: kept for up to one year for security and troubleshooting
- Backup copies: retained only as per our hosting provider’s policy, then securely overwritten or purged
We also periodically review stored data and delete or anonymise anything no longer needed.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, the following are some of the rights you have over your personal data:

To exercise any of these rights, please email ediggeo@gmail.com. We will respond within the time limits required by applicable law (for example, within one month under GDPR, extendable in complex cases).
8. International visitors & transfers
Although we are primarily based in the EU, we welcome visitors worldwide. Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we apply safeguards consistent with GDPR requirements to protect your data.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the “Effective date” at the top. If changes are significant, we may also provide a notice on the website.
