EDIG’s first event, our 2020 conference, took place on the 15th and 16th of December 2020 and was fully virtual and free to watch. The conference videos are available on our YouTube channel, and the conference agenda is shown below. Before the conference, we ran a global survey asking people about their experiences (or lack of) with equality, diversity, and inclusion-related topics. The results of this survey were used to structure our event.
The conference had three sessions (talks and panel discussions) and a workshop focusing on unconscious bias. EDIG’s inaugural conference was supported by 14 partners, helping to promote and give feedback on plans.
The conference programme is outlined below, and recordings of most talks and discussions are available on our YouTube channel, accessible here. Each conference talk is presented on the YouTube channel unless otherwise requested.
